Happy street life

The three urchin girls looked damn happy. A woman with burn scars around her mouth and face spoke to them. As I took the camera out, one of them requested for a pic. I denied; they were sure to ask for money. As they left, their cheerfulness left an impression on me, and I asked them to pose. Pose they did, gleefully. One can be happy anywhere, or nowhere. Can’t say what it depends on. But home is certainly a place one can train onself to be happy. ...

China ware innovations

Some of the cheap producsts that come from China are quite innovative. A tent near the house is selling them in bulk — household goods of all varieties. A sample of innovations: Ear cleaning glass tube — lighted from inside Self sticking hanger clips — yet to test this Torches powered by hand driven springs The best of all, though it goes too far: Coffee heater — a small water heater of the same shape we use for buckets! A new workspace

Created a page in html using Dreamweaver where the left partition contains links to all the sites and network folders I access everyday. It contains even a saved google search. This makes for a good singing experience. ...

A premonition unfolds

A fine story from Steve Wilson of UK on his blog. An IT researcher develops a chip that allows people to visualise their fantasies. He begins to get premonitions related to him. The premonitions relate to future events that are seen and can’t be changed — they grip the researcher so thoroughly. He tells us all about it in first person, till we arrive at the present moment, when he tells us what he would do next…as seen by him hours earlier. Interesting and engrossing. Unchangeable – A Fantasy by Steve Wilson ...

A garden full of life

The park in the morning was full of health conscious citizens engaged in their personal training. From children to adults, poor to rich, sane to mad… A random list: volleyball and badminton players, yoga classes, walkers, joggers, exercisers, laughing club, devotional song listeners, mere bench sitters,. Old and young, male and female, they showed up everyday. The mad man too — would climb up on top of a large iron globe to exercise, then join the yoga classes. One day made a lot of noise there, but was usually non-interfering. ...
